Maintaining oral bacteria from repopulating is essential in preventing periodontal infection from returning. It is recommended to keep your dental interval visits anywhere between three to four months. The RDHAP will re-evaluate your gum conditions by measuring your gum pockets. Plaque (Biofilm) and any Hard Deposits (Tarter) that has retaken control of the oral environment will be removed from above and below the gums. Your gum pockets will then be flushed with a medicinal irrigation allowing the ligaments to reattach to the root. After a thorough cleaning, your teeth will be polished to perfection, ensuring a smooth surface and fresh breath.
